Chelsea’s PERFECT DAY

My alarm clock goes off at 6:30am and I leisurley jump out of bed. The first thing I need to do is
wake up our sweet son, William followed by a large cup of coffee with vanilla almond milk creamer.

Once I am awake, I get to work on planning Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds wedding in Cabo San Lucas.

This wedding is going to be chic! The bride is wearing Mira Zwillinger, carrying a beautiful bouquet of sweet peas and will walk down the aisle to Skate by Silk Sonic.

At the reception, they will serve Pepperoni Pizza and Common Bond's Chocolate Chip Cookie. Their signature drink will be a Gin and Tonic.

This is going to be a fairy tale wedding, just like in She’s the Man! After finishing some final details on the wedding, I am off to lunch with my family at Armandos. I spend the rest of my afternoon either reading Yes, Please by Amy Poehler, browsing @thedefineddish instagram account, shopping online at Shopbop or binge watching Parks and Recreation.

Tonight, I am putting on my blue Hill House Nap Dress, grabbing my Stanley water bottle and headed to the happy hour with my husband, our son, and friends.

And when the day is over, I am so thankful because this was the most perfect day.

Hi there! I’m Chelsea and I feel so lucky to have the best job in the world. I absolutely love everything related to weddings, and really just party planning in general. I first got the sense that I would be a good planner when I was voted “Most Likely to Plan her Sorority’s 20 Year Reunion” in college. I love getting to know my clients on a personal level because it helps me connect with you and makes your event that much more special to me.

I was born and raised in Houston, went to Texas Christian University in Fort Worth for college (go frogs!), and then moved back home to start my career! I started in the event industry as an intern for another local planning company, which then led me to a five-year stint at a catering and event design company and helping to open up a brand-new venue in Houston. My background in the catering and the venue side of events helped me realize that I want to start that connection and be there for my client from the very beginning, all the way to the end!

I love being on a team with such incredible, knowledgeable women who make this job so much fun every day. I am so excited to get to know all of my clients and help make their day memorable from the second we first talk, to you driving away in your exit car! I can’t wait to hear from you!
